Dinkes Extends Recruitment Period for White Army

The Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) announced the extension of the recruitment period for the White Army, originally scheduled for September 2-3, 2025, until September 8, 2025.

This process is free and official only through the designated channels

The registration process can be accessed through the official website dinkes.jakarta.go.id/pasukanputih.

This policy was implemented so that more residents have the opportunity to join the White Army, which are health service workers focused on assisting and caring for the community, especially the elderly or residents with independence limitations.

This recruitment is open to residents who have a Jakarta ID card with a minimum requirement of high school/vocational school education or equivalent, aged 18–45 years. Participants who pass the selection process will be required to undergo training before being assigned to the field.

Jakarta Dinkes Head, Ani Ruspitawati said, this recruitment aims to strengthen field officers in supporting public health services in the capital city.

She stated that recruitment is free of charge. Thereby, the public is urged to be cautious of parties claiming to be from the Dinkes.

"This process is free and official only through the designated channels," she expressed, Thursday (9/4).

She explained, the White Army is not just healthcare workers, but also the frontline of community health services at the family level.

"Their presence is expected to be able to give more attention to vulnerable groups and help improve the overall quality of residents' health," she explained.

After completing the administrative stages, participants will undergo a written test and mental health screening, followed by interviews from September 15 to 16, 2025. The final recruitment results will be announced on September 18, 2025.

"Hopefully, this opportunity will produce more dedicated community health workers, thus the role of the White Army will increasingly benefit the wider community," she hoped.

The following are the main roles and duties of the White Army:

1. Providing direct care to the elderly/residents at home with physical limitation

2. Assisting with basic daily activities for the elderly/residents

3. Monitoring the treatment of elderly/residents

4. Monitoring and reporting health conditions

5. Providing guidance and offering emotional support

6. Assisting referrals to healthcare facilities

7. Providing support and assistance to families

8. Conducting education for the elderly/residents and their families

9. Data collection and target mapping

10. Assessing the level of independence in daily activities

11. Performing other field tasks in the health sector
